
Stand with feet and legs together, straight as a tree. Let the hands hang naturally at the sides.
Open the left foot to the side (just step out, do not do any special lifting of the foot).
Take power into the hands, moving them a bit away from the body. Bring the hands directly up the sides, palms touching the body (let the elbows come up naturally). When you get to the armpits, curl the fingers to turn the palms up (let the elbows lower naturally to do the action). Be sure to come directly up the side, as if coming up the seam.
