The seven star pole is a unique weapon in the bagua system. It is a thin, hollow pole about 1.2 m long. Traditionally it is made of a special flexibly bamboo with an amount of mercury inside. When the pole is whipped, the mercury shoots to that end, making it a devastating striking weapon.
