Grassroots assistant coach: Neil Bates. Neil has a solid background in Yiquan and Xingyi. He was introduced to MaGui bagua in 2005, and it interested him enough to start bringing me to Basingstoke twice a year regularly since 2008. When I am there for a seminar I stay for a couple of weeks and teach him daily, so he has advanced quickly. He is a highly skilled history teacher, and this ability carries over to his bagua teaching.
