Three groups, one around Nottingham, one in Basingstoke, one in Belfast, North Ireland. Seminars in April and November.
Hampshire Training Group, Basingstoke
Location: Farm at Beckett Court. Go out the Worting road until you go under the rail bridge, continue through at Roman Way at the small roundabout (T intersection), then turn left into the parking lot.
Neil runs regular classes during the year on Saturdays, 10:30 to noon, in his parking lot at Beckett Court, on the Worting Road, just after the little roundabout after the railway bridge. Check with Neil before going.
Time: 10:00 to 4:00 both days.
Next session: November, 2012. Private classes available the week after the seminar.
Contact Neil.
Grassroots coach: Neil Bates. Neil has a solid background in Yiquan and Xingyi. He was introduced to MaGui bagua in 2005, and it interested him enough to start bringing me to Basingstoke twice a year regularly since 2008. When I am there for a seminar I stay for a couple of weeks and teach him daily, so he has advanced quickly. He is a highly skilled history teacher, and this ability carries over to his bagua teaching.
Belfast Training Group
Location: 119A Woodstock Rd.
Time: 11:00 to 4:00 both days.
Contact Colin.
Regular practice time is Wednesday, 7:00 - 8:30.
Grassroots coach: Colin Harper. Colin has come to every seminar since I started teaching in Belfast in 2006. I stay with him during my visit, so he has benefited from extra training and discussion of bagua theory. He has consented to start coaching, to build up a stronger base for MaGui bagua in Belfast.
Next session: November, 2012.
