OPENING The same as Upper 1.

PULL NINE OXEN BY THE TAIL

ACTION 1: Unclench the hands with the palms down. 

ACTION 2: Reach one hand out to the opposite side on a straight line. Fully extend the arm and reach above head height. Turn the body to face in that direction. The reaching arm forms a straight line with the rear leg. Keep the torso centered in the stance throughout the action.

ACTION 3: Turn the palm down and clench the fist. Pull back to the waist/ribs. Keep the fist at shoulder height and out in front until the very last part of the action. Turn back to a mabu. Use full body power and spirit to pull 'nine oxen' from the lower back.

Repeat actions 2-3 three times on one side, then turn to do the other side three times.

CLOSING The same as Upper 1.
